Frequently Asked Questions
What is telehealth?
Telehealth allows you to meet with a healthcare provider remotely using a secure online appointment. You can receive care from home without traveling to a traditional medical office.
What services does Operation Resiliency offer?
We provide telehealth care in several areas, including primary care, mental health and therapy, psychiatry, hormone optimization, and weight management.
Who can receive care through Operation Resiliency?
Operation Resiliency serves patients located in Virginia who are seeking convenient, personalized healthcare. During your consultation, we can help determine whether telehealth is appropriate for your needs.
Do I need to be a veteran to become a patient?
No. Although Operation Resiliency is veteran-owned and shaped by military experience, our services are available to anyone who meets our care requirements.
Do I need health insurance?
No. Operation Resiliency offers self-pay care, so insurance is not required to schedule an appointment.
How much does an appointment cost?
Initial appointments start at $99, depending on the service and type of care needed. Visit our Pricing page for current service fees and membership details.
Do you offer ongoing care?
Yes. Ongoing care is available through a monthly membership, allowing you to continue working with your provider, review progress, and adjust your care plan as needed.
What is included in the monthly membership?
Membership benefits depend on the service and your individual care plan. Your provider will explain what is included, how follow-up care works, and whether additional services may have separate costs.
How do I get started?
Begin by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. We will discuss your needs, explain your options, and help determine the appropriate next step.
How do virtual appointments work?
After scheduling, you will receive instructions for joining your secure telehealth appointment. You will meet with your provider online, discuss your concerns, and create a plan based on your needs.
Can I receive prescriptions through telehealth?
Prescriptions may be provided when clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Your provider will determine whether medication is appropriate for your situation.
Can you order lab work?
When clinically appropriate, your provider may recommend laboratory testing or additional evaluation. Any testing or related costs will be discussed as part of your care plan.
Can I receive a referral to an in-person provider?
Yes. If your needs require in-person evaluation or treatment, your provider may recommend a referral or explain the next appropriate step.
Is telehealth appropriate for every condition?
Telehealth can address many healthcare needs, but it is not appropriate for every concern. Your provider will determine whether your situation can be safely managed remotely or whether in-person or emergency care is necessary.
Can I use telehealth for an emergency?
No. Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Can I cancel or change an appointment?
Appointment changes and cancellations are subject to our scheduling policy. Contact our team as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
